How is this possible? Turf Connections Low-Mow Cavalier Zoysia is a fine-bladed, beautiful grass that grows very slowly vertically. It was developed to stay low to the ground, hence, less mowing.
It is distinguished from other zoysiagrass by its fine texture, long, narrow leaves, with low rhizome, but high density stolon production. It has good to excellent salt tolerance, and good shade tolerance. Resistant to the fall armyworm and the tropical sod webworm. Intermediate in its growth and recovery rate, it has good to excellent winter hardiness and will persist in regions north of Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois as well as in the southern states.
Primary uses are in residential lawns, golf course fairways and tee boxes, and in parks, sports fields, or other recreational areas.
